Can You Spot Sir Michael Somare?
On the topic of APEC, it didn’t come as much of a surprise when the heads of state emerged for their traditional group photo shoot in Lima wearing flowing, brown ponchos spun from baby alpaca shearings.
Which makes me think – If Papua New Guinea ever hosted APEC, what traditional bilas would we dress up the leaders of the world with?
Yes we could give them a laplap each but imagine Barack Obama in full Simbu warrior bilas or China’s President Hu Jintao going tapioka style.
Can you spot Sir Michael Somare? Person who can correctly name all five heads of state standing around our PM wins!
(Answers will be provided).

Very interesting site. I will be back to visit again
Correction…
There are only four heads of state standing around Somare!
Therefore your question must be a trick question!!
R
No, there are five heads of state around Somare!
Chinese President Hu Jintao is standing right in front of Somare, and it looks like Tony Blair on his right except that Blair is long-gone so that must be John Key from NZ at his right…not too sure who the woman is.
Doesn’t Argentina have a female President?
Or the tall fellow standing to Jintao’s left – have no idea who that is. And the guy on Somare’s left?
Any clues?
Clues??!!
I thought it was a straightforward question! Haha.
There are 5 head of states standing around our PM.
Nokondi, John Key is right, Hu Jintao is right….three more names to get.
Have fun!
