United Resources Party – ‘Taim Bilong Action!’ Video
The United Resources Party (URP), led by current Minister for Petroleum and Energy William Duma, is the latest political party to sign up to to the internet and social media, with the launching of a website and Facebook page.
With the slogan “Taim Bilong Action!“, the party’s two strong-men and sitting MPs, William Duma (Mt Hagen Open) and Mal Smith-Kela (EHP Regional), have fronted a number of videos to kick start URP’s campaign.
URP is the latest PNG political party to use professional consultants to create innovative websites and utilize social media platforms to engage with PNG’s burgeoning internet population.
The first URP video below outlines the Party’s seven key policies with Duma taking the lead, the second video outlines how the Party will tackle corruption with Mal Smith-Kela showcasing his Tok Pisin, and the third is the Tok Pisin version of the first:
