Interview with Belden Namah

Never before has there been a Papua New Guinean parliamentarian quite in the same mold – or league – as Belden Namah.

Love him or hate him, Belden Namah has aspirations to be the next Prime Minister of PNG and is doing everything in his power to ensure that he returns to government with the most MPs.

Watch EMTV’s fascinating interview with PNG’s Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the PNG Party:

  1. Presidents from USA have NOT generally come from Military Generals. The last I can recall was Eisenhower which was about 60 years ago.

    • ‘Roy’ – yes, I picked that up too. I do believe the majority have legal backgrounds. Well, at least this video provides a little bit of an insight into Belden Namah.

      Cheers – Tavurvur

  2. Thank you for this Tavurvur – I heard about the interview from friends in PNG. Good to be able to see it for myself. Namah really is an interesting one.

  3. “Fascinating” indeed, Tavurvur

  4. Belden Namah for Prime Minister…we need a fresh start and only Belden can provide…..with you all the way!

  5. Haven’t seen the Interview but saw and heard him live on Saunday at Goroka National Park when he cam to launch his candidates fro EHP. Yes, he is dynamic, energetic and very vocal. Yes, too he’s got money and he is very bold in using it to drive the campaign for his party and candidates. Some of the things he did seems unothordox, but say something like that has long being waiting to happen. Now that one person did those thing one can not just right him off yet as bad leadership. Lets wait and see. I do not think he will bring dictatorship in a kindom like PNG…

  6. Belden Namah is the right one…

  7. Very interesting indeed! Let’s hope the next government will do the things Mr Namah talks about and use their power in the best interests of the people to lead the nation. There has been too much corruption for too long and transparency is needed. JOY all the way….and may the best man win. Good luck Belden Namah!
