The Tata Nano is currently only manufactured and sold in India. They’re slowly rolling out the care in the country before “tidying” it up and targeting foreign markets.
There has already been huge interest from Africa, Latin American and South East Asia for the Tata Nano to be manufactured there, and it won’t be that long before Tata does comply.
As for PNG, well – we’re not as lucrative a market then they are, we only have 6 million people. Realistically, it may take some time for the car to reach PNG. A note though for businesses, get in first to acquire a Tata Nano licence!
